Wicked Buddah Baby is the debut album by southern rapper 3-2, released on September 17, 1996 through Rap-a-Lot Records.
Background
3-2 had been with Rap-a-Lot since 1991 and had previously released two group albums for label, Convicts in 1991 with the Convicts and Secrets of the Hidden Temple in 1994 with the Blac Monks, before finally releasing his debut solo album. Production on the album was handled by several producers, including southern hip hop legends, Mike Dean and N.O. Joe. John Bido produced the most songs on the album with four.[2]
The album did fairly well on the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and Top Heatseekers, peaking at 28 and 13 respectively, but it did not sell enough copies to chart on the Billboard 200.[3]
Along with a single, a music video was released for "Comin' Down", though it failed to reach the Billboard charts.[4]
